How to Register Teams
Register your team today!
Registration opens March 2, 2010 and closes Thursday, July 15th at 6:00pm
Online registrations and donations are being accepted until July 15, 2010 at midnight.
What is a Team?
- A team consists of 4 or more people.
- Team members do not have to participate in the same events on Race day.
- Teams can be co-ed and can include children of all ages. PAWS for the Cure and Sleep In for the Cure participants can also register as team members.
How Do I Start?
- Designate a team captain, it can be you!
- Register your team one of two ways, online (preferable) or by mail/entry form.
Registering a Team
- Teams can register and fundraise online or by mail.
- All team registration forms and fees must be completed and postmarked by July 12, 2010.
- Team captains are responsible for tracking their members’ registrations. Online Team registration need not fill out the Team Roster/Donation Form (coming soon). If you are using paper registration, captains must fill out the Team Roster/Donation Form (coming soon) to be included with all individual forms and dollars.
- Teams can submit one or more check(s) for registration fees for team members.
For easier registration we encourage teams to use our online registration. Otherwise, team captains must fill out a Team Roster/Donation Form (coming soon).

- Send an email to your network encouraging online registration—and equip them with great fundraising and team information.

- Power of 20! 10 people giving $20—soon, each member of your team will have raised $200! Ask 10 more people, and the impact grows!

- Have a party—your team can get together and raise money—have a noodle party the week before the race and encourage your friends to give $25!
- Get more people involved! Encourage your teammates to reach out to their friends and join the team—the more the merrier!
Team Awards
Team members who raise pledge donations will be credited individually with pledge prizes, as well as their team prizes. Awards will be given in the following categories:
- Highest Fundraising Team
- Largest Team
- Farthest Traveling Team
- Pinkest Team—dress up!
- Largest Survivor Team
Team captains of each winning team listed above will also receive a special award, and for each $200 raised, your team will receive an entry to a very special drawing!
**Pledge money MUST be accompanied by an accurately COMPLETED Team Roster. Pledges that are not accompanied by an accurately COMPLETED Team Roster will not be counted towards pledge prizes or team prizes. Remember—if you register online, you DO NOT NEED a Team Register—so sign up online today!
